Saint Paul to Kuwait IV - 2019

Volunteers will travel to Kuwait to grill and serve steaks to soldiers while at the same time volunteers will serve a meal to family members at Saint Paul RiverCentre.

Members of Serving Our Troops and the Minnesota National Guard are available in advance and day-of the event to talk about the deployment, the volunteer project, what it takes to coordinate a global meal event, and the incredible value of this type of support for Minnesota soldiers and their families.

      About the event
On Saturday, May 25, more than 600 members of the Minnesota National Guard’s 34th Red Bull Infantry Division, currently deployed to Kuwait, will be treated to a special meal when volunteers from Serving Our Troops will grill and serve steak dinners in Kuwait. At the same time, families of the deployed service members will gather at Saint Paul RiverCentre for a steak meal. The two events will be linked together via a special live video program.

This Memorial Day weekend dinner marks the 14th event the Minnesota-based volunteer group has coordinated to support the troops and their families. At home and overseas, the Serving Our Troops project bring families together via live video for "a simple thing, dinner with the family."
