      Free Data Training from the Minnesota Population Center! Register here for our IPUMS International workshop. The Minnesota Population Center is one of the world's leading developers of demographic data resources. We provide population data to thousands of researchers, policymakers, teachers, and students. All MPC data are available over the internet at no cost. See for details on our data projects. IPUMS Time Use is a nationally representative U.S. time diary survey for period since 2003. IPUMS Time Use harmonizes these data and provides a data extract builder that allows users to create custom time use variables and data extracts for analysis. ATUS-X is a collaboration of the Minnesota Population Center and the Maryland Population Research Center. No experience required.  FAQs What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Blegen Hall 440, the location of the workshop, is on the West Bank of the University of Minnesota campus. The West Bank has hourly and daily parking lots, as well as metered parking. Please see the West Bank parking map or Parking and Transportation Services for more information.  There are several public transportation options. The Campus Connector (free and open to the public) stops at Blegen. Blegen is also next to the West Bank light rail station and the bus stops at Willey and Anderson Hall. Visit to plan your trip. Blegen Hall is wheelchair accessible. Please email if you have any questions about accessibility.    Do I need to bring a laptop or anything else to the workshop? Nope! We will provide everything you need.   Where can I contact the organizer with any questions?   Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? No, a printed ticket is not necessary.
