      Learn how costume designers begin with a concept and create one-of-a-kind, fully realized costumes for the stage through this hands-on course taught by costume designer and Guthrie Theater Costume Workroom Manager Christine A. Richardson. Get behind the scenes to explore the garment development process, experience how costumes are constructed, and discover the inner workings of the Guthrie's professional costume shop. Students will conceive their own sample design for the Guthrie's upcoming production of Hay Fever. No experience necessary! Supplies, tools and tickets to Hay Fever will be provided.
